Aren’t We Getting A Little Too Technical?
Further Inquiry to AWS Community Builders New Technical Writing Standards
Hey everyone. This is an update regarding the 2024 AWS Community Builder program changes. I’ve mentioned that the program is aligning new and renewal applications starting this upcoming January 2024 but I have some more news and clarifications.
As you know I’ve been an AWS Community Builder since May 2021. Last week the program manager said that there needs to be more advanced technical writing as you progress through the program.
I am in the machine learning track. I have been writing about AI and machine learning the whole time. This year I’ve covered Responsible AI, AWS AI Bedrock and Titan, AWS PartyRock and Machine Learning School. I am no stranger towards producing AWS machine learning content.
It is intriguing because the program has indirectly called out people who aren’t raising their standards. I mean I write on Medium, my blog and YouTube instead of Dev.to (the Practical Dev). However, I’ve stayed chronicling my AWS experience since I’ve started. In addition, I have covered AWS releases and technical releases.
