AWS Launches Generative AI Scholarship Competition To Upskill Students Globally

Last week on This Week In AWS Community, I’ve mentioned Amazon’s AI Ready initiative. I am breaking out and expanding here to talk about the AWS Generative AI Scholarship.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Generative AI Scholarship is a 4-phase competition. It provides more than 50,000 high school and university students globally with access to a new generative AI course on Udacity

Once again AWS and Udacity are partnership to bring you a new way to learn generative AI while entering to win 500 Udacity Nanodegree scholarships.

There are 4 phases:

· AWS Deep Racer Competition — Opens November 1, 2023 for all students who want to participate. This is a prerequisite

· Udacity Opens AWS Scholarship applications — February 1, 2024

· Applications Close for Scholarship Summer 2024 Cohort (2000 applicants) — May 19, 2024

· Udacity AI Programming Nanodegree Program Starts (550 applicants) — June 19, 2024
