Certified Scrum Product Owner Day 2

And we’re back! I have nearly forgotten about the day 2 start time because I am busy listening to the Smoke City Mobcast volume 2 mixtape. However, I am here and in breakout room #1.

I admit that I have fallen asleep during the second half of class. I mean it happens because I am trying to stay up until 1am. I reawake at 1:06am to see the Zoom breakout room instructions. I have just missed class. Oh well, I will try again later today. This time get a nap.

But before I crashed, I was very happy to learn more about combining agile and lean contribute to continuous improvement. This combination is a new concept to me. This spring while interviewing for a Project Manager position, the interviewer was mentioning project management and lean. I thought that was weird. Then I learned about scaled agile framework (SAFe). I got my SAFe Scrum Master certification this May 2021.

The agile + lean combination reappears in the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) course too. I am thinking to myself of how I have been so close to being around this as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) since 2016 but since Scrum Master and Product Owner roles are different, I haven’t learned about this agile + lean combination until now. Well, I know it now and that’s all that matters.
