Okay I am currently retaking the ITIL 4 Foundation training and certification to renew both my ITIL 4 Foundation and ITIL 4 Create, Deliver and Support certifications. Peoplecert has instituted a new certification renewal policy starting 2023 where every 3 years you must recertify or take continuous personal development (CPD) units. I have opted to recertify through exam. I am doing this blog series because some of you may be going through the same recertification process or looking to get into ITIL. Both are welcome.

Light Work

I have extensive service management background and have worked in a service desk. The instructor going through the basics is light work.

FULL Disclosure: I have spent this whole weekend going through the ITIL 4 Guide and watching Cloud Academy ITIL videos (subscription required) and done both Cloud Academy and Jason Dion ITIL 4 Foundation Udemy practice exams to refresh my memory. When I come into day 1 of the ITIL 4 Foundation training session, I am good.

Feeling good is the outcome that I want to achieve throughout my week-long training. To keep that I will ensure that I complete writing down all of the ITIL 4 Guide definitions and going through all of the practice exams. Right now my exam scores are 70%. By the end of this week, I want them to be 90% (The training provider wants 80% to release the voucher).
