Day 2 of Scrum Master Certified Training: Getting To The Nitty Gritty

Day 2 rolls around and we’re starting to talk about the different roles. There are three:

· Product Owner

· Scrum Master

· Development Team

They are featured in the Scrum Guide.

During the lecture, when the instructor asks the room for questions, I ask if the Scrum Master Certified certification exam will cover the Scrum Guide and the Scrum Body of Knowledge SBOK). The instructor says to not focus on SBOK just the Scrum Guide and the lecture content. Even though I know that due to my being a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), I want the rest of the room to know that. The Scrum Guide is the official Scrum Framework which most Scrum certifications be it CSM, SMC or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are based.

I am still on the hunt for Scrum Master Certified practice tests and exam prep videos to prepare ahead of my passing my exam next week. I will read the SBOK just because I need to pass the product owner quiz in order to cross that requirement off the list. Once I do this, I only have to attend two more courses.
