It is March 1 st, the first day of the third month of 2022.. Time is flying fast. This is also the fourth exam prep session. We’re covering virtual machines (cloud networking) and exam prep (finally after a whole lot of people are mentioning this on the listserv.).
I am also happy that the instructor did Google Kubernetes Engine lab during class. A lot of people have been having problems with the labs. I have contacted Qwiklabs regarding this program and the monthly GCP challenge about some of the labs going wonky.
Doing the lab helps us better understand how to do them correctly. GCP Jumpstart is an educational program so a lot of students don’t know how to do cloud computing. We are learning. I think this fact gets lost on the GCP staff because the program’s requirement is to have some IT experience. This does not mean that we have either cloud or GCP experience. Me personally this is the first time that I have worked with Google Cloud. I have relied a whole lot on my prior scripting and systems administrator experience to get through these labs.
Furthermore, the instructor has also gone over some official Associate Cloud Engineer sample questions. This is great because this means that we know what to expect.
