Happy International Project Management Day! As a certified project manager, receiving my PMP certification has helped propel my career. The PMP is the gold standard for project management certification. I can directly pinpoint the pre and post PMP career phases. I have had employers tell me that I have made the cut because I have a PMP!

Moreover, I love teaching PMP certification to students. I love their hunger and drive to better themselves. Anyone pursuing certification knows the amount of dedication, time and money you need to pass. Many don’t get their PMPs. Having one means that you’ve accomplished something!
