I Am On Threads!
I am on Threads! I have been on the new text-based app since July 5, 2023 when the invites went out. I want to reach out to you here on Medium to let you know what it’s all about and what I am doing. You can follow me here.
What Is Threads?
Threads is the new text-based app from Facebook (via Instagram). Threads is officially a member of the Facebook Family of Apps (think: Instagram, Oculus, WhatsApp, etc.). Here is the site www.threads.net
Why Threads?
I am an early adopter. I have joined Facebook while attending American University in 2006, 2 years before it was released to the public. I have joined Twitter in November 2007. I am very big on being one of the first onto a new social media app to check it out.
There are over 100 million followers on Threads. I am one of the first 4 million to join the Threads app.
The same as it is here on Medium: to help you make better IT, cloud and project management decisions. I am doing more Threads-related videos since the app is not integrated with Facebook Business Suite (yet!). I actually like having to create original video because I feel more connected to you, the viewer.
