Mailbag Question: Question About Taking The 2022 Oracle Cloud Certifications

Mailbag Time — As you know the 2022 Oracle Cloud certification exams are out. This includes updating the Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate exam. Since I have the 2021 Foundations Associate exam I ask Oracle customer support if I can pass the 2022 certification exam now or must I wait until September 2022 when I am 6 months out from my cert expiration.

A — Oracle says that I can sit and pass my 2022 Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate certification exam right now. I do not have to wait until September 2022 when I receive the notice that my 2021 certification would expire in 6 months. This is great news because that means that I can clear this recertification and move on with the rest of my 2022 goals (I also answered this question in my Career Trajectory LinkedIn newsletter issue 17.
