Morning Magnet: Solutions Architect

Hey everyone! You know that I am a techie who has always been interested in what’s next. Cloud computing is what’s next. Currently I am enrolled in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect Associate training. This is AWS’ most popular certification.

Having taken 3 individual AWS courses for the Cloud Practitioner certification, SAA is vastly different. To be clear: Solutions Architect Associate is not for novices: I have to rely on my SAS programming, code reviewer and systems administration experience. Still I have learned a whole lot about cloud computing (especially creating an instance [virtual server]), elastic IP address, auto scaling and elastic load balancer.

This course has given me a lot of experience and potential employers have taken notice. I am receiving a lot of phone interviews, LinkedIn connections and interest from my AWS cloud journey, Lynda.com learning path and my previous tech experience.
