My Deloitte Salesforce Consulting Select Program Week 1 Review

I am participating in the Deloitte Salesforce Consulting Select Program. As always, I love giving you a peek behind the scenes to know what it’s really like. There are 4 sessions: 2 this week and 2 next week. We also have a challenge to complete if we’re to receive a special invitation-only meeting. So without further adieu, here’s my week 1 rundown.

Session 1 — Tuesday

I admit that I have forgotten the time so I arrived late. What I did learn was the these participants are all from around the world. I also learned about some of my colleagues in our breakout room. We immediately went into a Salesforce case study which was good. No fluff here.

Session 2 — Thursday

We reviewed our elevator pitches. This time they combined both Deloitte and Salesforce consultants. Instead of this big breakout cohort, I was paired with another person. I was happy that she loved dining out as much as I did!

Furthermore, I also learned that I had way more work experience (15 years) than some of my colleagues. However, I had absolutely ZERO Salesforce knowledge. I managed to rectify that by going into Trailhead and completing my first badge!
