My GitHub Copilot Beta Exam Experience
I sat for the GitHub Copilot beta exam on August 8, 2024. This was my first GitHub certification exam. It was also my first time using PSI in 4 years. In this article, I discussed my onboarding, exam resources and exam experience.
How I Got the Exam Voucher
I signed up for the GitHub Copilot beta exam waitlist May 12, 2024, once it became available. I received the email July 26, 2024. I registered for the last date of the beta window, August 8, 2024. I rescheduled the time to 11pm that night due to another training. However, I was going to pass it.
Exam Onboarding
I uploaded my ID onto my PSI profile to easy onboarding. I also did the system check 3 days before the exam. These two things helped ease the exam process.
It was very different in 2024 vs 2020. I had a very bad PSI experience which you can watch here. However, this particular PSI experience was much better.
