I have passed my Oracle Cloud multicloud architect associate online proctored exam August 11, 2023. Here are my 4 takeaways to help you along the way.

Advice 1 — enter the exam portal 30 minutes early

In your exam page, it has a countdown. Oracle allows you to access the exam portal 30 minutes before your start time.

ACCESS IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Oracle uses Zoom to administer its online proctoring. My Zoom froze the first time I went through the portal. I recommend exiting both Zoom and the exam portal, going back to the exam reminder email that you receive, click on that check-in button and restart the process.

Another reason why I want you to get into the 30-minute mark is because you will have to download this lockdown screen executable file, test the file, select that you’ve tested the file and then and ONLY then will Oracle let you access Zoom.

Advice 2 — you may receive an incomplete exam email

Imagine completing a whole exam only to be hit with an incomplete exam. It happened to me. Do not fret if you receive this. Oracle may be reviewing your test. I would…
