Passed My Oracle Cloud Multicloud Architect Associate Exam
Friday, August 11, 2023, I passed my Oracle Cloud Multicloud Architect Associate exam. This was a big deal for me because I was a very big multicloud advocate before it became popular. I became AWS, Azure and Oracle certified in 2020. I came into this exam with AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate and AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer Associate certifications.
This was my second Oracle Cloud exam. I passed my Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate 2023 in July. I received the free training and exam voucher through the Race to Certification free promotion.
Here are the resources that I used to pass my test
· Official Oracle Cloud 1z0–1115–23 Multicloud Architect Associate training and practice exam
· Oracle Cloud documentation
· Cloud Guru Amit YouTube channel membership for Multicloud Architect Associate playlist
· AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate and AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer Associate certifications.
What’s Next?
Since (I think) that this counts as a Race to Certification exam take, I will be awaiting my Race to Certification sector 1 badge. I will follow up with customer service to see if it counts my Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate take in July since it occurs during the contest period.
I am thinking about pursuing the Oracle Cloud Data Management Foundations Associate exam. I failed it the first time. I would like to have it so that I can 1) pass it and 2) be multicloud in the data space (I have the Azure Data Fundamentals).
I do think that I will lay off the Cloud Security Professional due to how hard it is to access the free tier account. Oracle Cloud (as far as I know) is the only cloud provider where I have to download an authenticator app on my cell phone to get into my account. I have had AWS, Azure and Google Cloud accounts without an independent app. I never have to use the Microsoft authenticator app to get into my Azure cloud account.
