Starting My CISSP Journey

It’s official: I am starting my CISSP journey! I’ve received my $1500 DreamTech Scholarship check and enrolled in my CISSP exam prep course. I did not tell anyone about winning the scholarship because I did not receive the money until this Monday. Now that everything was squared away, I am ready to announce that I am studying to pass my CISSP exam in 2022!

CISSP is the senior-level IT certification. I do believe that I have accumulated enough experience to pass this certification. I view it as the IT equivalent of my PMP certification. You need 5 years’ project management experience to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam. CISSP requires the same 5 years’ IT work experience.

My goal is to pass my CISSP by spring 2022 and start implementing it immediately!
