This Week In AWS Community : AWS New Voices

Happy first Friday of May! It is official: I can now divulge the secret program that I have been in this whole time this spring 2023. It is: AWS New Voices. It is the a public speaking development program. One of the program managers referred me to this inaugural cohort.

I graduated from AWS New Voices yesterday. My speech was AI Search, Reputation Management And You. I wrote about searching my name on Bing AI and ChatGPT. Here is the video. ChatGPT got my education wrong serving as the catalyst for my talk. It was unique and nobody was really discussing all of the implications from AI search.

I mean why do what everyone else is doing? Everyone is talking about AI and ChatGPT. No one is talking about how these AI search engines getting these details wrong could adversely affect you. A lot of people use search engines as a ‘single source of truth’ but they can be wrong. Discussing AI Search, Reputation Management And You is timely and thought-provoking.
