This Week In AWS Community: Certification Reminder

I awake this morning to an AWS certification voucher reminder that my associate voucher expires in 90 days. Whoosa!

I have gotten this voucher from lobbying the AWS New Voices program manager for it upon graduating. I was in the first program so I received one. Too bad the New Voices weren’t doing vouchers anymore.

In a way I am happy that I have waited this long because the Data Engineer Associate certification is out of beta. There are also way more resources than during the beta period. Tutorials Dojo has AWS Data Engineer Associate practice exams. I use all of his tests to pass my AWS exams. This won’t be any different.

I am motivated to passing the AWS Data Engineer Associate exam. I am enrolled in two data analytics community college courses. I have also been a data lover since studying SAS and statistics.

Confession — I totally know that Solutions Architect Associate is older and more in demand than Data Engineer; however, I do want to get this Data Engineer Associate because I am expanding my career opportunities into data engineering.

What I am doing now is enacting a plan. I am not delaying it until 30 days because then something always happens and it expires. I am practicing better time management by starting my Cloud Academy AWS Data Engineer…
