This Week In AWS Community Closed Mouths Don’t Get Fed

This week has ended on a high note! I started this week submitting my annual AWS Community Builder exam voucher application.

Wednesday was all out of whack for me. I missed an important AWS-related meeting for a content opportunity. That was all because my day got started way before expected. As an epileptic, y brain synapses don’t take well to things being off schedule. Initially, I thought that I would be meeting someone.

Then, out from nowhere I got the group email from the AWS New Voices program manager saying that we’d qualify for another free exam voucher opportunity!

This was all my idea!

A month ago after the final cohort presentations, I pitched the program manager for some free voucher and/or swag. I was happy that one of the AWS Community Builder program managers approved of it because I really needed it.

I have BIG goals here namely renewing my AWS Solutions Architect Associate and AWS Security Specialty. Now I can get both.

You Have To Speak Up!

Had I never emailed the AWS New Voices program manager, the entire cohort would never have had that free exam voucher. You cand o the same in your life. The worst thing that could have happened was the AWS New Voices Program Manager saying no; but, he did not and here I am with two vouchers!
