This Week In AWS Community : Program Renewal Time

Hey everybody! February 1, 2022 is the start of my AWS Community Builder renewal program window. I got accepted into the program May 15, 2021 and since I am a little over 90 days out from my first year, AWS has opened up the application window for me to renew.

I feel pretty confident that with my writing this AWS Community blog series and Curated with Carla Twitter newsletter (kindly subscribe to my weekly newsletter covering IT, cloud and project management. It comes out every Friday 5pm EST.) that I will be approved for year 2; however, I still will pass my AWS machine learning specialty and AWS solutions architect professional for the icing on the cake. I do want to use my free exam voucher because I mean being an AWS Community Builder is the only way to a free AWS certification voucher.

I may also use my AWS credits and do some livestreaming of my SageMaker labs (I can do it on Screen-cast-o-matic too). I have not decided but I am going to let everyone know when I do submit my AWS Community Builders renewal application and what the decision is.
