This Week In AWS Community: Summer School

Happy August everybody! With this being the last month before school resumes and fall, I am taking time towards attending the AWS Community Chime (webinar) sessions.

This week I have attended the software development kit (SDK) session. Now full disclosure: I am not a developer but it is important to become more well-rounded and have some familiarity with other areas of AWS.

You never know. I may be on a job with an AWS developer and I would at least need to know the specific AWS products and services.

The Summer 2023 AWS Community Builders Application Are Still Being Reviewed

A program manager took to LinkedIn this week and announced that the team was still reviewing over 3000 applications. 3000 was a lot. When I applied in 2021, the number was 1200. No doubt AWS Community Builders was a great program.

I would also give credit to all of the current Builders for getting the word out about our program. I had a couple of people who became AWS Community Builders point to this week in AWS Community blog series and my videos for helping them get into the program.
