What’s Next After Completing Two Microsoft AI Cloud Skills Challenges

The Microsoft AI Cloud Skills Challenge has ended. I’ve completed the AI-102 Azure AI Engineer challenge first then the DP-600 Fabric Analytics Engineer challenge second. Microsoft manages to give me credit for finishing the DP-600 which is interesting. However, I am passing both AI-102 and DP-600 in 2024.

I have wanted to pass the DP-600 exam since it was in beta this January 2024. I am currently enrolled in a Data Analysis in Power BI community college course. Fabric is the foundation for Power BI. They’re intertwined.

What’s Next?

I am also considering being a Microsoft Certified Trainer. DP-600 is on the approved certification list. Fabric is much easier than Azure because the former isn’t as technical. Fabric and Power BI are all about business (BI stands for business intelligence). I am revisiting Microsoft Certified Trainer. I just hope that Microsoft hasn’t restarted charging $1000 entry fee like they did pre-pandemic.

I am also seeing if Microsoft Build will host a Cloud Skills Challenge for a free exam voucher! They routinely host a challenge. Let me see if Microsoft Build is doing one. I will let all of you know.
