Why Receiving 250K YouTube Channel Views Is A Big Deal for Me!

This past Monday YouTube sent me a notification that I’ve received 250,000 YouTube channel views.

YOU DON’T KNOW HOW BIG THIS IS!

I have been on YouTube for 10 years just chugging along. In the beginning I only opened my YouTube account just to watch videos and comment. Then in 2016 I started posting eBay resale videos when I had a store. In 2017 I did a Project Management Mondays YouTube Live series.

In 2018 things started picking up for me when I would do Project Management Minute videos. Every business day I would shot a different project management concept. This series led to a 2-year Projectized livestream series run. Originally, started on Periscope (RIP), I talked about project management from 2019 through 2021.

Once Projectized ended because they closed Periscope for Twitter Live ☹, I decided to focus on cloud computing. By 2021, I already did dozens of videos talking about all of the pandemic savings plus my AWS certification videos. Little did I know that shooting these AWS videos would lead me into get accepted into AWS Community Builders. I just want to share information and what I’ve learned along the way. This mantra would be my foundation for getting to 250,000 channel views 3 years later.

In 2023 I started two YouTube podcasts: Convos with Carla covering the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity training + certification; and, Free Tech Training for You grouping all of the free tech training and certification programs that I come across.

Here in 2024, I am already looking forward towards receiving 500K and 1 million videos. Why? Because I know that by then I would have helped so many others achieve their IT, cloud and project management dreams.

As always, please subscribe to my YouTube channel for the absolute best in IT, cloud computing and project management! Thank you.
