Day 2 of ITIL 4 Foundation Exam Prep Training : Steady Pace

Today I am back for day 2. You can read day 1 here. The instructor is covering ITIL4 Guide sections 2 and 3. I feel that it is a very good pace for a 5-day class. We’ve covered the guiding principles and the four dimensions of the model (organizations and people, information and technology, suppliers and value stream).

Side note — Value stream made an appearance in last week’s DevOps Foundation certification course. In addition, ITIL4 Guide talks about how different disciplines such as agile, ITSM and DevOps. Since I have gotten into ITIL in 2017 and started reading about ITIL 4 when it first came out in 2019, I already knew about the agile and DevOps connections.

I assume that Wednesday he will cover section 4 the service value system. Thursday will be the 15 ITIL practices that are on the ITIL4 Foundation exam. Finally, Friday would be review day. Of course, I am reading ahead and doing all of the exercises because I intend on passing my ITIL4 Foundation this week.
