Received My Race To Certification Sector 2 Badge

I am happy to announce receiving my sector 2 badge; and it was much smoother and shorter time period than sector 1. Even though I did not know where my sector 1 badge was located until August 16, 2023, Oracle did not award me with the badge until July 29, 2023 (I passed my Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate on July 18, 2023).

I received my sector 2 badge on July 18, 2023 after passing my multicloud architect associate exam on July 11, 2023. Personally I felt the acceleration came from my pestering them and documenting that I had met all of the criteria.

I truly wanted the multicloud architect associate because I had been a multicloud adopter and advocate for over 3 years. Receiving this certification was great for me.

Furthermore, it was a very nice bonus to get a second free exam voucher after the Race to Certification concludes August 31, 2023.

What’s Next?

I am studying to pass my Oracle Cloud Observability Professional certification. In the previous article I mentioned using my second Race to Certification free exam voucher to sit for this exam. Once the Race to Certification concludes, I will get my Oracle Cloud Security Professional using my free exam voucher. I will be multi-cloud in cloud security (I already have a Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert certification.).
